    Hi

I have a home guard alarm that is connected to the telephone line to ring my mobile.

We got fibre installed last week, everything fine until today when the phone is no longer working( but internet is ok)
Vodafone say it is an insulation problem with the install but will take up to 5 days to get out to us.

Our alarm keeps beeping at the control panel, is there anything I can do to stop this ? I don't mind disabling the alarm all together until its fixed.

    thks

You could power the system down totally , but that might be a bit drastic.
    What make is your system?
Have you called your installers? They should be able to turn this off over the phone for you.

There have being a few issues with Efiber relating to the voltage on the phone line even tho internet is working. If its a new install I would expect more of a response.
