low water pressure from Attic Water Tank

    Hi,

we recently moved into our new home, which was bought new. the only thing im not happy about is the water pressure when the water is coming from the tank in the attic. the mains water pressure is very good. downstairs taps that come from the mains have more than enough pressure, but when using the taps upstairs both hot and cold have a very poor pressure.

am i right in saying that the hot is coming from the tank in the hot press and the cold from the tank in the attic?

both have terrible pressure and there is no difference in the pressure between hot and cold.

anything i can do myself or is it a job for a plumber with a water pump?

    Thanks.

The water in your hot press cylinder also comes from the attic tank so in the upstairs bathroom hot and cold should be exactly the same pressure ( about a quarter of a bar of pressure).

If you are looking for more than that then realistically you'll need a good plumber and a pump.
