Anyone know of how much the gym costs - website has no info and when I asked before, they had some "jock" interview me to see what i wanted to "work" on - but that info would be 2 years old now.

A simple € figure is what im after - would be just interested in using treadmill/cross/rower type stuff.

Also is it a nice/good gym?

Costs €250 for 12 months for students. Gym is good. Busy in evenings as per any gym but fine. Loads of treadmills/rowers so no worries there

Free weights section is a nightmare in the evening.

If you live near it, it's a great gym. If you go in the mornings you'll nearly always be able to get the equipment you want.

As Pugzilla says, it's a nightmare in the evening: you'll find it impossible to get near anything. I went once at around 6pm and once at around 8.30pm. Both times the weights section was wedged. There's a lot of cardio machines though so if that's what you want, you'll be sorted.

It's currently €250 for a 12 month contract. Planet on the Headford Road is a good alternative if you want a pay-monthly option. I dunno how good they are but a few of my friends say it's grand

TBh youre better off going to the planet.they recently get a big new extension and its only a few minutes from the college and is 249euro with a pay monthly option.
The kingfisher weights section is also wedged at around 1-2:30
