Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have any solutions to this problem. The previous owner of my car had used handheld aerosol paint to touch up certain areas of my car (i.e. portions of side skirt, and the whole frikkin' bonnet). The shade of the paint is well matched to the original factory job, but it lacks a certain vibrancy and sheen in comparison. Have any of you encountered the same problem? I'd rather not fork out for a respray, especially if I can get the car to shine with the correct know-how and elbow grease :)

    Is laqer put on?

    Any pics?

A wet sand and machine polish, wax etc may bring some shine.
