I am a recent graduate in Comp Engineering and would like to know if anybody could recommend any good recruitment agencies.

Also I am applying through the GradIreland website but maybe through some agencies I would be able to get work quicker.

    Thanks

Can anyone recommend a half decent Recruitment Agency. In the past I have never used same but I am willing to try now. My degree is in Economics Politics and Law and I have most of my FE1s completed. I am willing to branch out and even take an admin job to keep me going. I would just like some suggestions.

    Many thanks in advance

Sigmar are very good. Plus recruiters I liked. Avoid Michael Page

do you arrange an appointment with Sigmar/Plus or how does it work? what sort of expenses (roughly involved) if you ae allowed to disclose such on the thread?

There are none for the applicant. Employers pay the fees. Only fees are if you use their other service such as cv support or interview skills. Good ones will have a telephone chat with you and then find out what you're looking for. Its in their interest to place you well as they get a bonus for candidates that last a year in a role. They are very textbook in terms of interviews so research highly important

thanks for that. nothing to lose then and my cv desperately needs a bit of snipping down so no harm in that.

I would avoid CPL. As suggested, Sigmar are ok to deal with.

Had a bad experience with Manpower. Currently dealing with The Panel and they seem ok so far
