Exporting Contacts off Sony Xperia, problem...

    Hi all,

I've been unsuccessful in my many attempts to do this.

For whatever reason, my contacts include phone number and email address, so in total, there are over a 1,400 contacts when I go to export a V card.

When I try to upload this V card to the icloud (I'm switing back to an iphone), it won't upload.

I can obviously filter my contact list to only display contacts with phone numbers, but I can't seem to export this list only.

It exports everything at the same time.

    Any ideas?

Sync them all to google. Then you can manage them how you like using contacts.google.com

True. I tried to import a vcard to the icloud, but it's telling me it's having problems reading the vcard. I'll try the other way.

The vcard doesn't work at all. Sync your contacts to google. If it's an iphone (guessing as your using icloud) set your gmail up on the iphone and sync contacts. It will download all contacts onto your phone.
