    Hi
I need to renew my permit and I need proof that I have sat a test in the last year.
It says on the ndls site that the certificate of failure is needed but I dont have one only a certificate of non completed test.

Unfortunately having finished the q and a part when we went out to my car the brake light didnt work as I had the wrong bulb put in the day before.

Will they accept this for my renewal?
I intend to book a new test but havnt the funds to do so until two weeks after my license is up so I won't be able to drive for two weeks if the dont accept it.

    Thanks in advance.

No, they won't accept that as proof of doing the test, as technically you didn't do the test. It was canceled, due to your car not being road worthy.

How many times have you renewed your learner permit? Are you sure you need to have sat the test, or just applied for it? If you are renewing it for the second time, you only need to have applied for the test, not to have actually done it.
