Have you tried a shot of estrumate or got a vet to scan/handle her?

Ya got her scanned the lad said she wasnt cycling, but wasnt far off.. 8 weeks later got a different lad to scan her and he said she is not near cycling ill keep her til 20 months after that i think its the road for her.

Can be hard enough this time of the year to kick start a heifer.
    How is she nutrition wise?
I've often noticed when the month of May comes and the evenings stretch out a bit it can kick them into action.

Fertility licks and a handful of meal. They'll be jumping in no time.

Nothing like a bit sunshine to kick-start things.

She's being getting a lick bucket full of greenvale meal each day since November she's defo over 500kg and I'm giving her a seaweed mineral for past 8 weeks if she wasn't so well bred she's be gone weeks ago, it's aswel the one's that you to breed from .

I would have said that she was already in calf. But sure she was scanned not in calf was she? How long ago was she scanned.

No she's defo not incalf scanned last week on farm. I'll give her a while longer but not wasting much time with her. Would she be not be great fertility wise if it's taking her so long to start cycling.

I've tried everything, stabilisers, holding the saddle, praise and encouragement. Still no joy.

Sometimes you just have to come to the realisation that some heifers will never cycle.

Did you put in a CIDR? Estrumate won't work unless she's already had a cycle.

    CIDR should get things moving.

    Would she have a cist?

A lick bucket to one heifer is way over the top. Would there be any chance she's over fat.

That's what I was thinking when I read that.
Any heifers to be kept here would be kept off meal as much as possible but as much silage as they want.

Ya maybe I'm giving her too much, but I was told to keep feeding her the meal I might cut it to half and see if it changes anything. Thanks for advice
