So I quit my part time job of 4 months this week as Uni was taking up too much time. I never posted my tax credits form, although I do have it filled out ready to go. I'm clueless as to how I get my tax returns, am I right in saying the easiest thing to do is post the credits form and p60 at the same time or post the credits form, wait for confirmation on that and then the p60 after? I read the faqs and couldn't find an answer so forgive me if I missed it

Yes I sent form 12A away and got a letter back from them, I think I'm supposed to send away form p50 along with parts 2 and 3 of p45 (which I still have to get off of my former boss) and that should be it? But as far as I know p45 only gets me my tax back that I earned from January 1st even though I was working from October on emergency tax

to get back your tax from 2014, you need to request a P21 Balancing statement for 2014 and you'll get a refund of whatever taxes you are due.

register with Revenue for PAYE online and you can do tax returns faster and easier.

Thanks, I registered for it last week but no letter back from them yet.

    Again thanks a million

Revenue seem to be running a bit slow in this area at the moment. my son registered too and is still waiting for his PIN. once you get that, the returns section works fairly fast though.

Got my pin in the post, although I can't request p21 because it says "not on file" for PAYE and Tax details as well as USC details. Any ideas?

You can enter the figures from your P60 manually
