HKC Second Activation on SecureComm App

We are planning on instating a HKC SecureComm GSM alarm into our house next week for self monitoring. However, our alarm company has also offered for it to be monitored. I am wondering whether or not we can see a second activation from the hkc app to verify that the alarm has activated. For example, if the back door is breached, will we also be able to see that our PIR beam in the hall was also triggered so that we definitely know that there is someone in the house rather than it being a false alarm due to weather or an animal. Is this something only an monitoring company could see? Should we have it professionally monitored also?

You will see all activation's plus get notifications through the app.
This can be set up by an end user if you have engineer access to your alarm system. Having the system monitored by a monitoring station if you want Garda response would also be advisable but up to yourself.

Thanks for that! If we don't have it monitored and can verify ourselves that the alarm has gone off due to an intruder, will the Gardaí still come from a phone call from us or would they only come if they were called by the monitoring station?

This is up to the Guards. From a security point of view when we install an alarm system that is monitored they are given a urn number for Garda response.
If we did not have that then the Guards are not obliged to respond.

Thanks very much for your help. Can a URN number be obtained by an individual or does it have to be obtained by an alarm company.
