    Tough course!

Not made an easier by my new electronic shifters deciding to stop on the back dérailleur leaving me in top gear. Could manage to hold onto the lead group over the biggest hill, home in the second group, maybe 10th or so, happy enough.

Love that cycle out by ballycastle

    did the a4 race.
probably the toughest race i've done... there were men (& ladies) all over the road as it splintered with the drag up the main st in ballycastle. if you weren't at the front at that stage it was game over and that was just about half way.
I do wish there were more A4 races like this.... there was never going to be a bunch sprint with that course.

That's a serious jolt alright, thought the group came back after that and the long hill was the one that did the damage. Fairly fragmented field coming home either way

You might post that link up again, cheers

i didn't do too much looking back but the first drag as well after the turnoff for downpatrick Head really put the pressure on! :-) the Gbcc guy pushed it hard there.
