I just got a new AV receiver and have a quick question. I am stumped at how to watch my BD Player ? I the BD Player connected to the AMP via HDMI and the TV connected to the amp via HDMI. I have Sky likewise coming through the amp with no issues in watching and changing back and forward to listen to FM radio through the AMP. I cannot however master getting to watch a BD ? Was issue before the amp as I would just select the Input channel on the TV and go to the appropriate one for BD. Now with only one HDMI output from the TV how do I find the BD signal to watch the movie. Never owned an amp before and the manual might as well be in martian.

You can basically leave the TV on the one channel (eg hdmi 3 in my case) and select the bd player input on the amp.

IdLeater, Thanks for the quick response. I had already tried this and what happens is when I select the BD/DVD input then Sky remains on but the sound goes. This would suggest I need to check and ensure the cables are correctly mapped. It is funny however that Sky is working fine.
