We have a rental property and wondering how much do others pay to an accountant to do the return on it.
We were abroad in Australia and had to do one there so just found it easier to have an accountant submit it for us.

we ve been charged in the past 350EUR which seems a lot, maybe its not.

I wouldn't have thought it was excessive to be honest, although certain on the high end of the scale for what sounds like a very straightforward tax return. However, I'd certainly advise that you try to do it yourself. All the information you need is on the Revenue website and their onling filing system is very good.

The most complicated part for you will probably be working out what your taxable rental income is i.e. how much can you deduct in expenses - but that's all there e.g. http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/it/rental-income.html#section2.

If you have a look well before the filing deadline, you'll still have plenty of time to engage an accountant after if you find you still need to.
