Points in road races

I see this morning that Cycling Ireland's website has updated it's Rider Rankings to include Sundays Lacey Cup, however for the A4 race they have only awarded points to the top six finishers. As far as I was aware for a 50-100km race the top eight should get points. Not sure if it's connected but stickybottle have only listed the top six too.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm asking as it affects a club mate.

Wait a few days and see if it gets updated, if its not sorted by Thurs/Fri send them a mail.

Edit: And yes points for 1-8 in that race.

Grading generally tries to get a head start when updating the rankings by using the media results. If they are missing some of the results, they follow on within the next day or two from the Commissaires reports.

The full result for Lacey Cup A4 has just been passed on to Grading so the 7th & 8th will be included shortly
