Any good companies for renting villas in the Tuscany region for August? Looking for a villa with a pool, close to a town/village or city (I know a lot of restaurants close in August so need to be in an area that's still open). Thanks in advance.

Tripadvisor and Ownersdirect are still both the best options. I have found that you can get lucky on smaller sites if you want something very specific, but all the "specialist" villa sites (typically from the UK, like Solmar and James) are very expensive.

I would always try the first two - best search criteria, biggest database overall...
