Fly Dublin - Southampton , FLYBE then train 2 hours to Blackbush. Google maps good for directions, click directions then transit type.

Let us know how you got on if you went.

It's much nearer Heathrow, or even Gatwick.

It's much nearer Heathrow, or even Gatwick.

If going by car and out of rush hour Heathrow should be marginally quicker and Gatwick marginally longer than Southampton airport.

If going by train Gatwick is a quicker option than Heathrow but neither is as quick as Southampton and there's a lot to be said for the convenience of Southampton. The train station is very straightforward to get to with little trouble finding it or the correct train. Not the same volume of flights obviously but flybe go there 3-4 times a day from Dublin.
