Glue to repair foil/veneer on kitchen units

I've a few kitchen units and the foil/veneer is starting to peel away on some of the drawer fronts and doors. I've tried contact adhesive and it isn't the easiest to apply, and doesn't seem entirely effective. Any advance on contact? Thanks!

New doors theirs nothing that can be done have seen hundreds of doors on kitchen go like that their was a company that used cheep glue and now their all lifting
