    Hello Everyone I'm looking for some advice relating to Domiciliary Care Allowance . I just got that allowance for my child he is 10 years old.I never applied for it before because I didn't know about it and that he could of got it before because he is autistic ,so I want to know can I apply for Domiciliary Allowance since he was born.

    I am no expert but usually you are only entitled to backpay from the time that you put in your claim. Citizens information might know.

    No, it won't be back dated. It will only be paid from the time a claim is made.

    Steven spielberg you can apply to get respite grant backdated for 2 years if you explain that you weren't made award of the dca. You could also apply for a further 6 months backdating of the dca for the same reason.
