Anybody previously stay in the above mentioned hotel in San Francisco?
Thinking of booking it for a few days in July. Any past experiences you could share would be very much appreciated!

Never stayed there (seeing as it's 3 miles from home) but have workmates that have stayed there and loved it.

One tip though - it is on the border of the Tenderloin (TL) which is not the best area at night (or the day to be honest). While the hotel itself is OK, your best bet to get downtown is to walk to California Street and take the old cable car down. You can get a 3 or 5 day tourist muni(transit) card that will mean you don't have to pay $6 cash payment.

There also isn't too much around there food/bar wise. Bush street/Filmore has enough to offer which is a 5 minute walk the other way. Polk street has a lot to offer and is a 10 minute walk away.
