Lack of automatic demo's

Looking around for a new car for my mother and the lack of an auto is surprising

*Nissan Note SVE no auto demo's in the country or any SVE's
*Toyota Aygo and Verso-S no autos around Dublin/Kildare and no dealer has got back to me about a verso-s demo she could even look at
*Skoda Fabia 3 dealers, none have a dsg demo
*VW Polo 4 dealers none have a dsg demo
*Mazda 2 no autos in the 2 dealers i tried

Are small autos that bad at selling ?

The auto versions sell is very small numbers compared to the manuals so there is little point having an auto demo when the majority of people buying are only going for the manual.

Maybe approach this a little different, search for a used auto example of the current models:

Mazda 2 is about to be replaced with a new model.

New Toyota Aygo is only recently been launched so there may not be an autos in the country. Why not look at the Yaris Hybrid instead, they are all auto.

Skoda Fabia auto will drive very similar to the Polo as they share DNA.

Thanks ill ring them tomorrow and get her out to see them,it was Windsor that told me there was no note autos

Could well be sold or they thought you were only interested in driving a demo.

Shes put a dep down on a Note SVE yesterday,8-12 weeks for delivery and it's the 1st cvt SVE in the county LOL
