Anyone tried to order medicines from online retailers? What was your experience? What pharmacy you used for your order?

Actual online pharmacies are not legal in Ireland, so there are no "good" ones to order from. Home delivery from an actual Irish pharmacy is the closest you're going to get and you're not going to get fantastic deals or anything without a prescription in those cases.

I know, but outside Ireland they still exist ;) And people do use them to get stuff. Sometimes it's cheaper, sometimes you don't need prescription..

Irish customs love to seize medicines coming into this country. If you buy anything from them eg Indian pharmaceuticals will seize most things purchased online and will send you a letter asking you to tell them where you brought them. Also most online pharmaceuticals are fake unless they are from a legit UK pharmacy. You can tell if they are legit if they have a chain here eg Lloyd pharmacies

The odds are that what you order will be seized by customs, they screen packages for tablets etc.

    Update May 22nd 2009
Due to the possible legal implications, discussion about Online Pharmacies is not allowed. There is no way to verify the legitimacy of any drugs (even over the counter) bought online, and importing prescription drugs into Ireland is illegal (even if you have a prescription).
