NCT and no ownership cert

have NCT on Wednesday and can't locate Vehicle registration cert. I was owner when it was last presented for NCT. Will that suffice? along with my driving licence ID?

Don't worry about it. They'll still do the test but the worst they can do is withhold the cert until you produce the VRC. A lot of the time they don't even ask.

I did mine today and didn't need cert or ID.

Normally you'd need ID to be fair.
