    So, was curious. Is the Toyota Avensis 2005 model a good car? Might be heading out to purchase one today

    They're a great car check the emissions on the pass sheet just to make sure it didn't just scrape through. Some of them can burn oil. Check the clutch isn't too heavy as its a sign its on its last legs when it gets very heavy.

    1.6 litre tends to be a bit underpowered, is grand for getting around town but it tends to get noisy at motorway speed. 1.8 litre is more suited to the car but they are less common on Irish roads.
