There is a bus from Eyre Square (405 for Ballyban) that leaves at 8am and 8.20am
Either of these will drop you at the start of the Ballybrit Industrial estate and there is about a 5 min walk to Boston.

Journey time from Eyre Square is between 15-30 minutes, and then it's 5-10 minutes walk from the bus stop to the various offices. But if you've at 8:45am start, I wouldn't risk the 8:20, it's the one that's most likely to be a few minutes late.

The Ballybrit neighbourhood map shows you exactly where the bus routes go.

There's also one-off "factory bus" thru from Knocknacarra: http://www.galwaytransport.info/2011/01/ballybrit-industrial-estate-factory-run.html

If it's your first day and you're really not sure where to go (or you miss the bus!) a taxi from Eyre Square costs around 8/9 euro. But there will definitely be other people getting off the 405 buses between 8-9 who can point you in the right direction.

as a regular user of the 405 i would recommend this time and bus to be there well in advanced of 8:45

getting the 8:20 (405) bus from eyre square should get you at the bus stop by 8:40 but only leaving you with 5 minutes go get from the bus stop to boston and would be cutting it close. Not to mention the fact circumstances out of your control for example accident along the route, bus driver is captain slow or just really heavy volumes in traffic.

taking the 403 bus will add an extra 5 minutes to your walk or more depending how long it takes to cross the lights at the main junction.

TLDR - get the 8am 405bus in eyre sq
