Just posting in case anybody here comes across it. 156 3.2ltr V6 Model , Metallic Silver colour. Potential damage done to the roof and bonnet as it was being stolen, front plate also missing. Owned by my partners brother. I've added a picture also. Reward offered. Any info appreciated. Stolen in south Wexford

Would be a great pity for such a rare car not to be recovered

This has been happening far too often of late And I'm sorry to hear that, genuinely am, I don't know what I'd do if it happened to me.

I'll be keeping an eye out for it, and also for the parts too. GTA parts don't come up for sale often.

When I get home later I'll throw it up on Alfaowner to get notice out in the UK. Unfortunately it's likely this is where it may end up.

Hope he gets it back though.

Cheers. Have put it up there also but only in the Irish section. Will add a thread on the 156 forum too.

Hopefully somebody has seen it, they are very rare here I've only ever seen one of those and one 147 GTA.
Guys with an eye for cars would spot it a mile away.

They'd hear it before they see it as well:pac:

Lads as far as I know this is one of two silver gta's in the country so if seen shouldn't be too hard to mistake. Its rare that you see a 156 anyway these days.
    Hopefully its found

Pricks used it to bash through a gate and garage door too so if it is found will probably need a fair bit of body work done.

I was thinking this myself, the silver GTA's in Ireland could be counted on one hand. Even 156's in general, besides the ones here there ain't many silver ones left

I'll keep a look out up here.

I was in a 156 GTA around the time it was launched at (2001?) Mondello. Driven by an Alfa test driver. A very quick car at the time.

    Apparently this has been found.

According to the stolen & recovered page on facebook.

Mabe Facebook isn't entirely useless after all.. maybe..

It has indeed. Lad spotted it in his estate after seeing on Facebook. Damage to the car was less than expected too so a good result for a change!
