RDF Weekly Parades

Can anyone in the RDF give any information on this?

Basically, I was wondering what (typically) RDF personnel spend their two hours doing on weekly parade. I realise this will depend somewhat on their particular unit and corps - but what would a typical, say, infantry or cavalry weekly parade consist of in one of the larger Barracks (I've applied for Cathal Brugha myself, for instance)?

    Any information appreciated.

When you first join it will begin with an awful lot of marching. After a while you'll move onto stripping and assembling the rifle and other various lessons. Once you're a two star private, you'll go deeper into tactical training and specialist training for you're given corp unit. As a three star private, you will do constant refreshers on you original training aswell as keeping up you corp specific training and honing your skills.
