Open to any suggestions but flatter the better and must be over 140mm wide.

    100€ Max.

For comfort you cant beat the old High Nelly saddle, kind to the largest posteriors :D

Prologo Zero II would be my recommendation. I had one for a while but the flatness didn't suit me on long spins even though it was very comfortable on shorter spins (less than 2hrs) I changed it for a Prologo Kappa Evo.

Its above your budget but if you watch ebay you can pick them up considerably less, theres one ending tomorrow and its currently at just under 20euro >>> eBay

Make sure if you are searching ebay for one you search for the Tirox model as the other Zero models are 135mm or 138mm whereas the Tirox is slightly wider at 141mm.

Thanks Cee-Jay-Cee, my budget is tight simply because I've already bought a few which didn't suit me so far. I've measured my sit bones and it seems they were all just too narrow.

How about a specialized toupe, or if you prefer deeper padding an avatar. They both have a very flat side to side profile and come in multiple widths...

I've found Brooks B17 excellent, and very popular with long distance cyclists, 175mm wide. Currently €70 on bike24.

Spa cycles also have a similar wide (168mm) leather saddle for £40, though I'd tend to go for the B17 first.

thanks, I picked up a Brooks Team Pro Classic as the weekend but I'm still setting it right (initial feel seems like its still too narrow). thanks for posting though.
