Not sure exactly. I believe it's 155-7....Maybe one or two more wins, but I am fairly sure 7 losses.

Just of a matter of interest, how do you know this or where did you find the info?

I have a friend who writes, and covers a lot of Irish Boxing, and has covered Katie's career. I may just tweet Katie to see if she can verify her record.

I wonder what ggg or wards records are??? Doubt there as good as 155-7 but I'd say there impressive enough, or mayweathers,

Isn't Floyd 86-4 or something similar? Ward apparently hasn't lost a bout since aged 12...

    GGG is 345-5.....They say.

I'm surprised at how good they are, mayweathers total seems low?? So really if you go back to 12 your more or less unbeaten in my eyes,

Vasyl Lomachenko's amateur record finished up 396-1.
His lone loss was at 19 years of age in a World Senior Amateur final to Selimov, avenged twice.

    That takes some beating.

It's a great record if true. Mark Breland, USA I believe only had one loss from about 110 fights.

Rigo has one of the best amateur records in the world. Boxrec lists it as Amateur Record: 374-12 .

Similar to a great Romanian LMW, Francisc Vastag. I think he won 3 world belts in the 80s and 90s but never got a gold in the Olympics. He beat everyone around. 370 + wins and about 14/15 losses.

Also having boxed in a Cuban gym and seen the absolute intensity of their program, 12 losses is no mean feat. You're literally fighting the best of the best of the best week in and week out from the age of 10 onwards. They get taken away from home and put into an academy where kids get washed out every year. It's mental. A far cry from being brought to McDonalds and a sleep-over after the kids' amateurs here anyway.

There's a great documentary called The Boys Who Fight for Castro and a coach from Pinar Del Rio who was in charge of the under-12s having a break down after his team lost. He was sobbing like a maniac and the other coaches were trying to pull him off the floor, utterly inconsolable. Boxing is on another level over there.
