Changing left-over ThaiBhat into Euro

    Hope you can help is it possible to get my left over thai bhat to euro on my way home to Dublin.

    There are numerous exchange places in the airport in Bangkok (rates are a total rip off though).

    Wonder would I get a better rate in Dublin as I'd hate to lose them thanks a million IV about 10000bht

    you defo won't get a better rate in ireland the banks here will give you a terrible rate, best to try and find a money exhange in bkk before you leave they are all over the tourist areas.

    At the rate the Euro is going you could be better off holding onto it but just do it before Thailand devalues the Baht which it should do over the next 18 months. XE says about 270 euro, you could just see if anyone's heading over there and let them make you an offer.

    Get it all changed into 10baht coins and take them home with you - vending machines accept them as 2e coins.

    Profit!

    It doesn't work any more.

    Worked in a cigarette machine in Donegal as of 2 weeks ago.
    I guess it comes down to make/model and how 'sensitive' they are
