Freelancing

    Hi guys,

So I did a jobbridge a while back and am in the hunt for a job. Anyway the company I did the jobbridge with want me to do a couple of months' freelance work for them.

I've been reading some online stuff but tax websites are written for robots! My question is this: I'm unemployed and on the dole at the minute, looking for work, and the freelance work will probably make me maybe 1500 quid. I don't really want to do cash in hand (I like to be above board), but with that kinda money I'd imagine I won't be paying tax.

Which brings me onto my next point. If I do the freelance stuff, how does this effect my tax credit certificate when I send in my p46 for wherever I end up next?
