Hi guys, I have a 2 month old akoya that was working fine (although incredibly frustratingly slow to load anything and everything from day one). It shut down fine last night and now when I switch it on the power button lights, the wifi and a cylindrical icon have blue lights, the screen is lit although blank and the cursor is on the screen but no password prompt or anything comes up. I've done the remove power/battery thing to remove static from motherboard but same thing still happening.
What could be problem?

Could be a dead disk, or even motherboard.

Take it back. Do not troubleshoot any longer. Get your money back imo.
