do you easily accept help from others if/when you are struggling? are you willing to swallow your pride in situations that demand it? do you find stubbornness is a problem for you in life along with pride??

You can be massively stubborn whilst having no pride.

And by you, I mean I.

Stubborn enough to not admit that I'm too stubborn.

Stubbornness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. If I've come to a carefully thought-out position on a topic, and you come along and tell me I'm wrong, but I don't just take your word for it, that makes me stubborn - apparently.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Easily accept help when struggling? They're most likely helping because I asked for it in the first place! Asking for help is never humiliating or something to be ashamed of.
Being stubborn isn't a problem for me; it is for those who have to put up with me.

I don't even wait for the struggle...

I'll shamelessly walk away from anything that involves effort if anyone shows the slightest interest in helping me

Very stubborn and very reluctant to accept help, there is nothing I can't do if I put my mind to it.

Everyone I know says they're stubborn, including myself. We can't ALL be stubborn!

    I seriously hate stubbornness

And nothing you can say will change my mind.

The time I've wasted trying in vain to do things that I'm not capable of, and know I'm not capable of, rather than ask for help.

Yes I'm stubborn, but it's not necessarily a bad thing if it means people keep trying instead of giving things up at the first hurdle.

if someone gets my back up I can be extremely stubbourn.when I was a kid any time I got sent to the bold corner I'd refuse to leave it.had teachers /parents have me pulped out of the corner and I'd keep returning to sit there for 2/3 hours.

When it comes to my own abilities, yes I'm a stubborn cnut. I don't like not being able to do things.

If someone says or thinks I can't do something, a little stupid switch happens in the back of my head that says 'fcuk you dickhead, il show you'!

Aaaaand mostly, I still end up not being able to do whatever it was.

I'm always very open-minded and very receptive to new ideas. If someone has a well constructed and cogent argument I'll often change my viewpoint. I enjoy robust and impassioned debate.

That said, I'm not easily convinced by spotty teenagers who post simplistic and idiotic arguments without nuance or subtlety about complex social, political and economic issues on online comment sections and message boards.
