Over the last two days there has been a whirring noise from the fuel filter. It is like a small motor running. It is intermittent. Specifically from Dublin to Galway and back this weekend? 75K on the clock and not sure if it has been changed before.

is it petrol or diesel? and why would you want to change the oil filter if the fuel filter/pump is making a noise? they are 2 totally seperate items.

Its Petrol, and the oil bit was a typo, meant the petrol filter.

oh sorry.i suppose changing the fuel filter is the cheapest place to start.
