I need to do this to test if the power from the RF2 output on the sky box is reaching the magic eye and lighting up the red led. However, the connector's on the magic eye won't allow this. What piece of equipment/adapter's etc do I need to do this?

What are you testing? The magic eye or the power supply on RF2?

The power supply on the rf2 and that the eye is working correctly.

to connect the magic eye you need a female coax on sky box end and male plug on magic eye end. that done you should have a red light, if not you have to turn on signal through sky box.
