thanks for this. have you bought from them before, and feedback on quality etc

First time I've bought from them, usually buy from TM Lewins.

Nothing between them, Tyrwhitts might be a little better, free brass collar straighteners a nice touch.

Extra slim is similar to Lewins slim.

At this price, it's a no brainer to try one out, the ties are great quality.

    Interesting!

These are normally 4/£100 - but you will usually manage to pick up a 10% off to bring it down to 4/£90. This usually makes up for delivery charges, so you end up paying around €130 in total for 4.

Quality wise, I love these shirts. Been buying them for about 5 years now, get some for presents for relatives as well and they love them too. Quality does vary unfortunately so once you find a particular shirt material you like you will tend to stick with it (I am very hard on my shirts as everything goes into the tumble dryer and sometimes i find the heat kills the non-iron aspect of the shirt).

The big advantage of Charles is that you can specifiy your arm length as well as your neck size. You might want to go up or down a size on different shirts in your first order so you know for future orders what your perfect size is. There are also 3 fittings, regular, slim and (very?) slim. Slim is basically normal, regular is typical Irish lad with a belly on him. The very slim is what a normal slim fit in FC or Zara might be like (but even then not quite as tight as Zara!).

So - go for it! 4/£80 or 5/£100 is really great value.

I have bought over 10 of these CT shirts from a factory outlet in Hong Kong. All excellent quality in terms of material/stitchings/finish. Made by factory in China who also makes shirts for Jos A Bank (another great brand!) and Stafford Shirts (for JC Penney). Ususally wash them by spraying stains on cuffs/collars then put in a laundry bag (collars won't fray so easily from spinning) before putting thru cold wash.

TM Lewins shirts are really nice, if these are similar its a great price.

    Thanks to original poster

Had two shirts (and the free tie) delivered today, less than a week from order to delivery. Look good and nicely finished, will be interesting to see how they go after a few washes.

To echo the posters above, the fit is big. I'd normally go for slim fit, ordered extra slim and it's still a bit baggier than the slim from M&S or Zara. No issue from me, but anyone expecting a very tight fit would be disappointed.

    Thanks OP.

Extra slim fit is now slimmer than it used to be. Be aware of that when ordering.

Ye both the Slim and Extra Slim came with a sticker on them saying "New Truer Fit" or something like that. The Slim fit a tad tighter, I compared it held up against a previous Slim Fit and couldn't see a visible difference but it definitely seemed a little tighter. So you were previously Slim and found it just about ok, i'd go up to regular...
