Amazon or Pixmania.ie to buy a smartphone

    Hi there.

    Need some advice. I want to buy Samsung Galaxy S5 mini for my partner's birthday. As it's not available in Ireland yet would you recommend purchasing from Pixmania.ie or Amazon? I have absolutely no experience with neither.
    If I chose to buy online is there some details I need to pay attention to choosing the phone? Obviously I'm aware that there are different sellers but how can I determine if the seller is trustworthy? Also is there different S5 mini models available like European or Asian model? How the warranty works when you buy a mobile phone from Amazon or Pixmania?

    Please help me!

    It's more expensive on Amazon at the minute due to the euro being shîte, €320 on Pixmania for the 16GB White vs €350 on Amazon.

    I've never ordered from Pixmania though, mainly because of the amount of negative feedback I have read on this site and others about them.

    Personally, I'd opt for amazon, for the same reason as maxi. I'm sure there are plenty of trustworthy sellers on pixmania, but if I was buying there, I'd just be careful. Plus, amazon have great customer service should you run into any problems, they make it returns/replacements etc. very easy.
    Tick the free delivery option if you're searching with amazon, all of those should deliver to Ireland. There's usually plenty of feedback available as well. Make sure the phone is not locked to a network - it should say sim free or unlocked in the ad.
