    Hi PWM,

I have a set of 2011 Spinergy XAero Lites in immaculate condition if you're interested? About 1550gm in weight, reasonably stiff, very comfy and hardly used, I'd say they have about 2500km on them. Also, they're black.

Only con is that I lost the spoke key for them, and if you ever needed to true them you'd have to get hold of it online. That said, I can't imagine them ever needing to be trued.

I don't think I can post an image of them here...maybe I can PM you the photos of them if you're interested?? I'd be looking for about €200.

    Let me know.

I have a set of mavic open pro CDs on current black campag record hubs. They have double butted DT swiss spokes. They have about 300km of use on them.

If the OP isn't interested in these, I might be, as I've had issues with spokes breaking on the R501s I've been using for commuting, and looking for something more reliable/a bit stronger.

Would have a few other questions though, and potentially the OP might ask the same so hopefully asking them won't be taken as hijacking (I did say my interest was subject to OP not being interested)! What spokes are they built with? Did you build them yourself or buy them built? If the latter, where did you get them done? What age or distance on them so far?

Had them built by Richies Swords by Frank. He a good mechanic and builds a good wheel.

Spokes are DT Champion or DT Alpine, I can't remember. They've covered just over 1K I'd say. I've also had them sitting in a wardrobe for 18 months or so.

I'm on 11 speed now so they'll never be used.

Oh, sorry they would be way over what I have to offer I'm afraid. My max max would be 250. And that's already 50 over my budget stated above. Sorry

Thanks for the answers. As I mentioned before, I don't want to tread on the OPs toes here, but if they're not interested they genuinely sound like what I'm looking for, and within my budget (other option is aksiums from 4thebike.de based on good experiences with and older aksium set, but I think these would offer a better lifespan, and be stronger for commuting), so if OP is not interested I am.

    Cython,
It appears at this point OP is not interested in my wheels.
If I don't hear anything from OP by tomorrow morning you can have them. I'm sure this in line with Boards rules.

If you are looking for something reliable 36 spokes is the way to go, especially for the back. That's why they are so popular amongst the Audax community.

Thanks, OP. Will offer the asking to AmberGold subject to inspection, and take this to PM rather than clogging up your thread any further!
