Hi, anyone know how to go about chasing up a logbook for a Massey 65 tractor we have had for 40+ years ? Don't know the either.

Does the reg come up on the likes of cartell.ie or motorcheck.ie?
Was it ever in ye're name?

Did it ever have a reg ?

Lots of these old tractors came in used, second hand from Uk mainland and NI
and were never declared or may have had a taxbook for a different model "matched up" nothing very sinister, just duty avoidance.

Some were bought new and possibly never registered because they were never taxed for road use.

Once you have the chassis no and engine No (if it still has the original engine) I'd imagine you should be able to get a replacement.

Talk to your local office they will be well used to this problem since the sorn system was introduced.

Great tractor by the way, I once had one with a Perkins 6354 6cyl engine fitted 120hp a guy had it converted to drive a double chop unit. A bit mad.
