alot of the uk imports arriving in this country are a few years old and possibly bought at auctions - ex lease/ company cars. however i have noticed that some very high end nearly new vehicles are being brought in also - i know bmw dealers get uk stock through bmw gb as bmw ireland is affiliated to the gb operation but where do the merc. audis , maseratis etc at dealers like paul tobin ltd come from ?
its unlikely they would be bought at auction and uk main dealers are unlikely to sell off late model in demand cars at trade prices so are these vehicles just bought off main dealer forecourts with a healthy profit added and then sold to irish buyers on the basis of convienience , being able to take trade ins ?

theres a bit of a sink in cars in Ireland from 2008 till 2013 , especially at the high end. Now a lot more people have the money / confidence again to go purchasing 2010/2011/2012 higher end cars , and they just aren't available. The UK stock is being brought in to fill the gap.
