Can anyone give opinions on these?
TP Link half the price but needs USB dongle?
Does anyone know if the Huawei can take a USB dongle instead of a SIM?

TPlink is just a router, there are many better routers that can use a usb dongle in this way.

Why would you want to put a usb dongle in the b593s?

Currently I have to hang a USB dongle out of the window to get a decent signal

You can fit an external antenna to the B593s.

If you already have a compatible dongle then the TP-Link 3420 V2 is a useful cheap solution.
