IMPORTANT- Disability & Mental Health

For the purpose of my Final Year Project I am looking at the associated mental health disorders associated with having a severe physical disability.
Depression and anxiety are very common amongst those suffering from a severe physical disability; there is a case to believe that the problem often goes unrecognised leading to more significant mental health issues down the line.
What are your opinions on the matter? How do we recognise the signs and symptoms?
And if we do, what steps can we take to have a positive impact?

    All comments appreciated

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
