Whats the most valuable thing you lost?

On my last day in Thailand, I lost a bag with my tablet and iPod in it. Just walked away without it, and upon my return to the bar, it was "gone".

The tablet was a few years old, and the iPod even older, so they were due replacement anyway. Thankfully I have the cash to do that, when I get home. An excuse to treat myself, more than anything.

Anyway, what's your biggest loss, in terms of a physical good (or cash, etc)?

Firs time in China, lost/stolen my wallet, with €300 and my credit card in it. Had only just started dating my now wife. Mastercard sent out a replacement card to her work place within three days , was seriously impressed with that. She lent me money to get by. Honestly dont know what I would have done without her help.
In retrospect I suppose it helped me realise that she was "the one".
Six years later we are married with two baba's and a mortgage here

Probably a mobile phone or two. No more than about €700 in total.

I hate when you've to use a stupidphone for a few days until you go & buy something decent.
