    Hi,
We have a 3 bed semi and would like to go up into the attic if possible.
I have not been up into the attic, just poked my head in through the hatch adn had look around... Id imagine there is space for one room and maybe a small ensuite. But the chimney breast runs up through it and looks like it would get in the way..We would put in skylights etc
Has anyone done a similar attic conversion, if so was it worth the cost..We would live a 4th bedroom and 2nd bathroom. Cant fit another bathroom in unless we extend out the back.

It can be done. It will be tight depending on the dimensions of your particular house. With regards the value, only you can answer that. Is 10-15k worth it for you?

The price will also depend on structural requirements for the house to put the new floor in and then you have the Part B requirements for fire safety which may effect the rest of the house.
