    Hi all,
Im trying to decide whether to get vodafone broadband including a working phone line or just the simply broadband,
As i understand it, simply broadband uses the line for just broadband and does not allow me to make or receive phone calls which i don't mind,
Just wondering however does simply broadband mean that the line cannot be used for a monitored house alarm, sky multi room connections etc
As we have to get a new connection into a house with an existing deadline and we live in a house with a rural townland address, sky are unable to locate us on the database but vodafone have, eircom have too but they are dearer than vodafone.
Just have to weigh up the pros and cons now which pack to order,
Thanks for any help ye can give.

Sky should be able to work off your wifi nowadays.

Monitored alarms are mostly sim card based now, speak to your provider.

With bb only the line can call the exchange itself, nothing else.
