UPC , please help!

This is the speed I'm getting all the time now, it's awful. I've reset the modem and changed the chanel, and it's always this bad. Do I have to pay for this speed which is allegedly 120mbps.

That definitely isn't right! Are you testing with an ethernet cable directly attached from your PC to router? In order to eliminate wifi as being the problem.

If yes, then contact UPC support, they should be able to help.

Cisco modem?

It's a wireless connection, but was fine until the last few months where it would be normal one day and then infuriating the next. Now it's this all the time. It's the standard cisco modem. Not there to check the number now.

Looks like the upload is fine, if so its the Cisco locking up. Turn it off for 30 mins, turn it back on and test straight away, see what you get.

As suggested do it over a wired connection! And try a few different ports on the modem and make sure the interface is connecting as Gigabit Ethernet.

Tried all of the above and getting the incredible speed of 10.kb/s it's 2001 all over again. Could it be something to do with my PC's network card?

Something is seriously wrong with your setup there. What modem are you using? I'd try another computer, have you rebooted the modem?

Sorry, saw it was the Cisco modem and you've rebooted it.

Try a different computer to be safe and make sure nothing else is connected to your modem while testing, wired or wireless, just the test computer.

Same issue, where are you based? I'm in limerick.

Ping is terrible also ranging from 80-800ms. Problems only started in the last week or so.

Connected via ethernet to a bridged Asus rt-n66u.
