Is it a bad idea ?. Does the estate still have a bad reputation ?

Am not sure of the current estate reputation but be prepared for very thin walls between each house.

Probably a bad idea if you don't research it a bit more. I don't live there but have a friend who does & she would leave it in a heartbeat if she could. she would tell you herself most people living on her street there are fine but there's always the few who make living there hard for others. Have you looked anywhere else?
