Buying Laptop in Canada

I am looking to buy an XPS 13 from Dell. The system I want is 500 euro cheaper in Canada. My brother is visiting friends there in a few weeks.

Just wondering would there be any specific issues with me getting him to pick me up the laptop. There have been a number of similar threads so I am aware of issues around charges and warranty.

Specifically could I order the laptop online here using an Irish card, have it delivered to friends and have him pick it up?

Just make sure the battery has enough juice before he gets on the plane or the security folk won't let it on.
