You are supposed to keep records for 5 years from administration, Bord Bia (our lad at least) just checks the past year, a department veterinary inspection may go back the full 5.

The storage is supposed to be a fixed cabinet in a secure building and don't have anything in a fridge with food in it, a beer fridge is handiest if you need to store medicine cool. I wouldn't get too hung up with this, a locked box in your utility room might be acceptable for them. Get a sharps container though.

They will mostly be looking for if anything was sold within the withdrawal date. Make sure any remedies they see are accounted for and written up when administered.

normally a year, if not complient at all they might go back a few
make sure u put down animal no, drug, where u got it, date administered and put down date when can be used for milk or meat consumption they would accept just 28 days or 4 days beside it
