SAB Triple Tuner Issue

I have a SAB Triple Tuner running Enigma2.

    Software
    System OE: OE-Alliance 2.3
    Distro: openatv
    Firmware version: 4.2.1
    Driver date: 20140815
    Kernel version: 2.6.32.61_stm24_0216
    Gui version: 2014-08-16

The box will randomly display the following message and the tuner locks up...

"Recording(s) are in progress or coming up in a few seconds! Really reboot now? no/yes"

There are no recordings in the timer when it appears.

The only way to get the box working is to restart it.

Anyone else have this issue or a solution?

Its a bug in the Openatv software I'm afraid.

It happens if you are recording a satellite channel and switch to Saorview or vica versa.

I'd recommend switching to Hyperion 4.5 ,it doesnt have this issue and is a more reliable image overall.
Have a look in this Terrestrial forum in the Alien 2/Golden Media Triplex threads .

Hi, I only got around to installing this image a few weeks ago and its not running very smooth. I cannot put the box into standby because it has has problems waking up.

Have you come across this or a heard of a workaround?

Are there any alternative images that you recommend?
