    Anybody come across the inspectors this week?..seems to be accompanied by new posters.

    not sure..some woman in a navy jacket just checked my ticket...wasnt wearing the orange Irish rail.

    Was it the normal Irish Rail uniform or just casual clothes? If uniform then may be a staff member taking part in a blitz ideally should have had a high viz on, if casual clothes could be doing a survey for Irish Rail, she was on the Sligo train last week.

    The survey staff I've encountered had lanyards with the market research firm they worked for on them; although they may be using directly employed staff instead.

    That particularly survey wasn't asking for any information the ticket barriers wouldn't have been able to tell them (origin/destination stations) really though.
